The Assam Special Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2023 is a state-level exam conducted by the Assam Department of Education to recruit teachers for Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) schools in the state. Vacancy Details: 


The Assam Department of Education will release the official notification for the LP/ UP TET Exam 2023 soon. As per the previous year's trend, there are expected to be a large number of vacancies for the post of teachers in various LP and UP schools in the state.



Eligibility Criteria:


 Candidates who wish to apply for the Assam Special TET 2023 must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:Educational Qualification: For the LP TET exam, candidates must have passed Class 12th or equivalent with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. For the UP TET exam, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.


Age Limit: 


The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 38 years as on 1st January 2023. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per the government norms.



Application Process: 


The application process for the Assam Special TET 2023 will be done online through the official website of the Department of Education, Assam. The online application link will be available soon. Candidates should fill in all the required details correctly and upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature. They should also pay the application fee online to complete the application process.

Selection Process: 


The selection process for the Assam Special TET 2023 will be done in two stages.

Written Exam: 

The written exam will consist of objective type questions of 150 marks. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Personal Interview: 

The candidates who clear the written exam will have to undergo a personal interview. The final selection will be made based on the merit list prepared after the written exam and personal interview.
