The Indian Navy is celebrated to honor or pay tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for their bravery and patriotic role in the war between India and Pakistan on December 4, 1971 in Operation Tridentor. Indian Navy Day is celebrated on 4th December every year in India.
The Indian Navy can attack from three places - sea to sea , sea inside sea and sea above working to provide security or protection to the country in the waters. That is why the Indian Navy is known as a three-dimensional force..jpg)
The Indian Navy Day is marked by various events. These events are - swimming competitions in the sea, quiz competitions,aircraft displays and ship launches for visitors and school children, etc.
The theme of Indian Navy Day is also different every year. The theme of this year's Indian Navy Day is - "Project Completion and Efficient Operations for Any Navy."
